Preliminary

Preliminary Film

Preliminary Task
For the Preliminary task we had to produce a short film which was continual throughout and also keep to the rule of the 180 degree rule. Not only this but we had to also include actors opening a door and shuting it which flowed. The whole of the filming had to flow naturally without interuption.
How My Preliminary Turned Out
In the end me and my partner amie decided to film our preliminary task at school and film two of a our firends, natalie and emily. The plot of the preliminary task was emily walking into a classroom and borrowing a book from natalie. With this simple plot i believe that we got in all the shots we needed and kept to the 180 degree rule.

Shot 1

The image on the left is a shot from the preliminary film. I chose this shot to show how my film was continual and flowed. In this image you can see emily opening the door. We had to make sure that she pushed to door handle right down to make it easier to film it continually.

Shot 2

Now in the image to left you can see the next shot of emily the other side of the doorand about to open it. We remembered that on the other shot was left emily holding the door hangle down becuase of this we had to still show this in the next shot to make it continual. I think that me and amie filmed this part of the film very well. My contributions to this part of the film was that i filmed shot 1 and amie filmed filmed shot 2.

Conclusion

In conclusion i was very pleased with the overall filming and i think that me and amie kept the film continual throughout. I am most proud of the opening door shots becuase it flows naturally however to improve i believe that i could have done a better job of the dialoge part as some parts of the film faded.
